Television Production 2

This course has been discontinued for new students as of Fall 2022.

For students who have taken & passed RTF 03.222 TV Production 1, this is a PRODUCTION SPECIALIZATION ELECTIVE.  3 credits.

This advanced TV production course provides students ample opportunities for hands-on learning and practice in all aspects of field and post production.  Building on knowledge gained in TV1, students work with a variety of cameras and begin to explore advanced field lighting and audio recording techniques.  Pre-production activities require students to research both technical and aesthetic design approaches in their pursuit of crafting short “slice-of-life” stories and featurettes on subjects that interest them.  Work progresses through the semester and culminates in several 7-10 minute digital stories on various subjects produced by production teams.
