The Big Game – 30 second ad costs
It’ll soon be that time of year again, when a few hundred million people around the world allow the National Football League to impact their lives for a few hours one Sunday night in February. Super Bowl LII (52) features the New England Patriots versus the Philadelphia Eagles from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In the U.S., NBC will broadcast the game live, and companies buying a single 30-second ad spot will shell out around $5 million per spot. That’s $166,666.67 per second. Yikes.
